Everyday Heroes is a tabletop roleplaying game set in the modern world and based on the d20 system Open Gaming License and the Fifth Edition System Reference Document.

Inspired by D20 ModernEveryday Heroes provides a complete rulebook on running campaigns in the current day or the near future. The book covers everything you will need to run a modern-day campaign. This includes modern new character classes that fit within the modern-day theme. It also includes professions (e.g., fireman, CIA operative, chef) and backgrounds (e.g., rich kid, military brat, gang member) to help flesh out your character. firearms and equipment, modern adversaries, and revised rules on car and foot chases.

    Games looks interesting reading the quick start guide to compare to D&D various editions (I mod to AD&D 1st ed for personal use)

    Wow. I think all of those settings are hits. I especially like Pacific Rim and Escape from New York, followed closely by Crow and Highlander. And the rest would be cool, too!

    Neat idea but I wonder if I would be influenced by previous stories (movies) for the actions. I will have to dive into the quickstart guide

    This sounds very interesting, especially with the different source books! Escape from NY would probably be good for a one shot but I’d love to explore Skull Island.
