Time: 30 minutes.
Spicy Dice is a cool Roll-and-Write with 6 custom dice and a pouch. Each die in the set has a single with red spots instead of white ones – so there’s a die with a red ‘1’, a die with a red ‘2’, and so on.
What do the red numbers do? Well, I guess it depends on which game you are playing with these dice – that’s a longer story. But for Spicy Dice, it’s your choice – “flip” it to any other number, but only right after you roll it, or keep it for double score or other bonuses.
If you’ve played similar games, you will learn this very quickly – BUT there’s something missing – there’s no “3 rolls per turn” rule. Yup, YOU decide how many times to roll. BUT… it’s 30 rolls for the 10 categories. Save rolls for later OR borrow from the future, just try not to run out of rolls.
The dice are seriously beautiful. 100% pearlized acrylic with rounded edges and corners. The look good and roll great. There’s 4 colors available. The pouch is cloth with a silkscreened logo and holds everything – dice, scorepad, and rules. Just grab it and go.
