Gameplay:
Gameplay can get quite chaotic but isn’t that the purpose. At first it was a little hard to know what to do until a friend explained to me that everyone reveals their actions at the same time then you go around the table and resolve them.

Theme and Mechanics:
I loved the theme and mechanics of this game. Especially as the only thing I’ve ever thought a Banana was good for was to chuck at your friends.
Artwork and Components:
If you’ve never seen The Odd Ones out on YouTube that’s okay. Just like in his videos I feel the artwork on the cards as well as the flavor text really pulls one into the game.
The Good:

The Other:
While it was a bit chaotic especially as some of the rules could use some work. I still really loved the game. Note: we played a prototype that wasn’t quite fleshed out.
Final Thoughts:
Overall I’m excited for Cafe Chaos and can’t wait to see how the final game turns out. I can’t wait to get it to the table. So much I’m excited to break open some of the booster packs that were also sent to us. I’m so glad we got to play this game.

Lake was a pharmacy tech in just about every facet you can think of including as a veteran of the United States Air Force. He’s also a husband to his wonderful wife with whom he has been blessed to be the father of 5 great children. Due to circumstances beyond his control he got thrown into the world of Tabletop gaming. As an overachiever he couldn’t just sit there quietly playing games. So he started podcasting about games in May of 2017. Ever since then has been slowly trying to grow his evil regime starting with The Giveaway Geek and now EBG.
