Every family has skeletons in their closet, some dirty little secret or grudge that can destroy familial relationships. That’s why they’re hidden. Let them free and who knows what might happen…
The Curse of the House of Rookwood is a gothic horror RPG in which players take on the role of family members of a cursed house. Those hidden skeletons threaten to destroy familial bonds, and yet the game encourages players to reveal their long-hidden secrets.

With an original rule system using six-sided dice, you choose whether you roll one die to play it safe, or roll more dice in hopes of gaining the greater reward—at greater risk to you. Recover dice by airing your skeletons and stressing your familial bonds.
Your story starts wherever you like: Victorian England, the Wild West, or perhaps Vancouver in the conspiracy-obsessed 1990s. Play through generations of your family line working your trials and tribulations to your benefit…or your family’s ultimate doom. Will the House of Rookwood rise or fall? The path is yours. Only you—and your skeletons—can determine your house’s future.
The Curse of the House of Rookwood is live on KICKSTARTER from now until December 9, 2019 and has a funding goal of $5,000.
