Originally funded on Kickstarter, Game of Phones is back and better than ever, completely redesigned for an even more awesome experience. Consider Game of Phones to be the ultimate digital scavenger hunt in which you take on fun, family-friendly challenges that appeal to both your creative side as well as your spontaneous side.
Each round, one player will draw a card and become the influencer for that round. Each card has four different challenge types that test the players’ social savvy. The four categories are Like, Unfollow, Download, and Upgrade, and these require the players to complete the challenge so theirs gets picked, engage in last-person-standing challenges, uses a quick response, and bonus challenges that everyone completes together.
To complete these challenges, players will search their phones for specific messages, photos, memes, videos, and anything on the Internet. Once again, Game of Phones is designed to be family friendly, so all challenge cards are appropriate for you, your kid brother, and ancient grandmother (who is apparently smartphone literate). No new apps to download; simply use what’s already on your phone!
In this age of smartphones and their ability to help the masses avoid social interaction, Game of Phones is designed to bring these people together in a fun and engaging game that utilizes their item of preoccupation (i.e. smartphone) to reconnect with the people around them.
Game of Phones: What Will You Share Next? is live on KICKSTARTER from now until September 24, 2019 and has a funding goal of $10,000.
