Expert adventurers known as Seekers have been tasked by the Organization to venture forth past the City’s outer walls, into the dangers beyond, to explore, excavate, and return with treasures, Qoam, relics, and other riches. Of course, with other Seekers out there on the same mission as you, expect sabotage and subterfuge. As if your rivals weren’t enough to worry about, the great Colossus lurks in these uninhabited areas, spreading illness across the world.
Set in the world of Mysthea, Icaion is a game of engine territory building and resource management for 2-4 players. Throughout the game, players will deploy machines (to lay claim to territories and exploit their wealth), investigate the Colossus (gaining rare Primal Shards, but avoiding its parasites and movement), work to eradicate the infestation, and explore the craters from which the floating islands of Mysthea detached a millennia ago.
The game comes with over 70 highly detailed miniatures, including a unique, oversized sculpt of the Colossus. With in-depth lore and new, original illustrations, Icaion helps you dive even deeper into the Mysthea world.
As a bonus, combine a copy of Mysthea and Icaion to form a third game, called Mysthea: The Fall. This hybrid game is a cooperative game of territory defense, in which the five floating islands are falling down onto Icaion, and civilizations from both games must work together to put an end to frenzied creatures, attracted by the giant Crystal inside the city.
