The Parsec for RPG's Dice Box Review

Quick Look: The Parsec for RPG's

Artist: Aaron Cain

From the artist:

The  Parsec for RPG's is the latest innovation from master craftsman Aaron Cain and the second design under the Parsec Banner.

The  Parsec is a minimalist box designed for Role Playing Games like Pathfinder and Dungeons and Dragons. Unlike other boxes designed for RPG storage the Parsec incorporates premium hardwoods at an economical price point. The Parsec provides foam lined storage for your prized miniature and two sets of standard 16mm polyhedral dice. The felt lined lid has been precision machined to act as a personal rolling tray to contain those Critical Hits. The Parsec is held together with 8 high strength Neodymium rare earth magnets which securely keep the parsec closed with NO dice rattle.

Review: The Parsec for RPG's

The Parsec is a lovely wooden dice box from Aaron Cain Custom Boxes. Made of gorgeous solid wood, the Parsec had slots for 14 polyhedral dice and one mini, all cushioned with foam inserts, plus a felt-lined lid for rolling dice.

The Parsec box, approximately 7" long, 5" wide, and 1 1/2" deep, is held together with magnetic closures which so far have proven to be strong enough to hold up to everyday use--the box has stayed intact in our game bag, on our shelf, and transferring to our table.

Variable thickness foam inserts come with each box so you can accommodate minis of different sizes in the central hex space. Customization is available with a variety of woods to choose from and designs that you can have etched into the top, too, so the Parsec you get can be exactly what you need it to be, including an option to have the insert cut to hold 22 dice instead of 14 dice and a mini.

The Parsec provides an attractive way to keep your dice and mini protected as you travel to game night, and a lovely spot for rolling your crits while you are playing. The natural wood is so beautiful and the box itself is very solid and sturdy. I have nothing but good things to say about the Parsec!
